Registration from 6-8, then we gather together and meet all of the other wonderful folks that have joined you in this mission adventure. We'll sing, go over the rules, schedule and activities, then let you go to sleep!

We will be spending the morning and afternoon working on your mission project with a break for lunch. Lunch will be delivered to your site.
After we finish work for the day, there will be a short break and we are off to Jackson Park for a cookout and inter-group sports challenges. There are baseball fields, soccer fields, tennis courts, nature trails, basketball courts and more. We’ll have tons of equipment and plenty of games.
Later on, we all gather at the “amphitheater” (weather permitting) for a time of worship and sharing. Each day when our program is over, we encourage you to meet with your group and follow up on the day.

For part of the day your group will be involved in an outreach project. It could be helping out at the local rescue mission, providing a meal for local migrant farm workers and their families, visiting shut-ins, food distribution or running VBS. This part of your mission experience is meant to compliment the construction type work that you did; affirm the “hands on” hard work and round it out with an outreach project from your heart. The balance of your day is free time until the closing program at 8 o’clock. Closing program will wrap up your mission experience by showing the video of your week, singing the songs that you’ve learned and charging you to make mission work something you are constantly doing, whether planning a project in your own back yard or overseas.


This is your day to take advantage of local attractions. Along with Carowinds and the Biltmore Mansion there are a myriad of opportunities for fun in the area. Everything from ropes courses, horseback riding and mountain climbing to sightseeing, river rafting and more. Check out the Links Page for a look at some of the local activity. We check out from the hotel first thing in the morning and make your way home from whatever activities you decide on for the free day.
